The Mohawk Valley Ambulance Corps has fired its Chief Operating Officer, Bradley Vrooman.

Vrooman had been suspended without pay earlier this week as the result of an alleged incident during a meeting last week over a salary dispute.

Because the issue involves a personnel matter, the MOVAC Board says upon legal advice, they are unable to comment further.

MOVAC officials say they will continue to provide professional EMS services to the communities it serves.

They also say MOVAC is in the strongest position financially that it's been in for a number of years and looks forward to the future.
