The color of the day was "Red."

The American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day Luncheon was held Friday afternoon at the Beeches Inn and Conference Center in Rome.

The event featured Passion Speaker Debbie O’Neill. Debbie shared her family’s story. She lost her son and her husband to heart disease just a few weeks apart and her two daughters were diagnosed with heart disease a year later and both have implanted defibrillators.

More than 80 landmarks and buildings in the Mohawk Valley will illuminate in red tonight to help raise awareness of women's heart health.

That includes the Townsquare Media building in Marcy.
