New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Two people are in Oneida County Jail after allegedly stealing more than $3,700 of cologne from two New Hartford stores.

According to New Hartford Police, on December 10, a man and a woman stole more than $2,200 worth of cologne from Ulta Beauty Supply in Consumer Square.

One week later, they stole another $1,500 worth of cologne from JC Penney's in Sangertown Square.

While at JC Penney's, security officers were able to catch 24 year-old Kortney Servatius, of Barneveld, but 35 year-old Richard Brown, of Utica, got away.

Servatius was found with a hypodermic needle and a bag used to fool the store's electronic security. She also had an active arrest warrant from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in Colorado.

Both are charged with two counts of felony Grand Larceny. Servatius also faces counts of Criminal Possession of an anti-security item and of a hypodermic instrument.
