Pennsylvania State Police are now releasing the name of the man killed in a single-vehicle crash in Susquehanna County May 4, 2015.

Authorities say 59-year-old Gordon Shultz of Montrose died when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving on State Route 167 in Brooklyn Township at around 1:45 p.m.

The vehicle hit a parked car and a tree and caught fire with Shultz trapped inside.

Shultz was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, 25-year-old Garrett Spear of Binghamton, was taken to Endlwess Mountains Hospital in Montrose with unspecified injuries.  His condition is not available.

The investigation is continuing.
