They're best know for their "infamous" play in Game Six of the 1986 World Series.

Former New York Met Mookie Wilson and Boston Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner will be appearing together for a special "Green and Gold" event at Herkimer College on May 16th.

Down to their last out in the 10th inning, Wilson hit a ground ball that went though Buckner's legs, allowing Ray Knight to score the game-winning run.

The Mets went on to win the World Series in game seven.

Following their appearance, mentalist and speed painter Robert Channing will perform an ESP/mind reading show.

Proceeds from the event, which will take place from 6 to 9 p.m in the college gym, will benefit the recently established Herkimer Generals athletic endowment.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at www.herkimer.edu/greenandgold or by calling 315-866-0300 ext. 8459 by Friday, May 8.
