More Charged In Sports Betting Probe

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two more have been charged in a lengthy investigation into illegal sports gambling locally.

State Police have now charged 63-year-old Marie Swift and 31-year-old Darrell Swift of Utica with conspiracy.

Troopers say the pair allegedly conspired with John Swift in an illegal sports betting operation.

A total of nine people have been arrested in the probe over the last several weeks.

Police say they are still investigating but do not expect any more arrests.
