Two firefighters were injured and more than eighty cows were killed after a fire broke out at a farm in Fayette, New York.

The blaze broke out on Kuneytown Road in Seneca County at approximately 10:45pm Tuesday night, July 7, 2015.

Although some cows escaped the flames, Larry Hurst, the owner of the farm, says 83 cows perished in the fire.  In addition he suffered almost a million dollars in damages.

Authorities say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.  However, it does not appear to be suspicious.
