Motor Vehicle Accident In Annsville Injures One

Annsville, NY (WIBX) - A Sylvan Beach man is facing charges after allegedly causing a head-on collision in the Town of Annsville.

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol says Andrew Bonomo, 21, was turning onto Main Street in Annsville when he entered the opposite lane.

Luke Pomilio, 47, of Rome, attempted to avoid Bonomo's car by driving to the the shoulder, but Bonomo continued steering towards him, hitting his vehicle.

Bonomo was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital for his injuries. He is charged with failing to keep right, using a cell phone and other traffic charges.
