Murder Trial Of Kaitlyn Conley Begins With Opening Arguments

Opening arguments took place on Tuesday in Oneida County Court in the murder trail of Kaitlyn Conley of Sauquoit.

The 23-year old Conley is accused of killing her boss, Dr. Mary Yoder, in July of 2015.

Yoder owned and operated Chiropractic Family Care on Oriskany Boulevard in Whitesboro, along with her husband,  Conley worked at the practice at the time of Yoder's death.

Authorities say Conley poisoned Yoder with the drug Colchicine.

The prosecution will begin calling witnesses tomorrow.

The trial is expected to last three weeks.
