MV Regional Economic Development Council Submits Final Plan

Utica, NY (WIBX) – The Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council has identified 13 projects it recommends for state funding in its final Strategic Plan.That plan has been submitted to the state.
The Mohawk Valley Council is one of 10 Regional Councils across the state competing for $1-billion in state funding made available by Governor Cuomo.
Four regions will be awarded up to $40-million each in capital funding and tax credits to be applied toward their priority projects.
The Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council covers six counties, including Oneida and Herkimer.
