MV Resource Center For Refugees Names New Director

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees has a new Executive Director.

Shelly Callahan has worked at the center for over six years and had been serving as Interim Executive Director since April 1st.

Callahan takes over for Peter Vogelaar, who accepted a position in Turkey.

Since 1979, the center has resettled refugees from more than 31 countries.
