Rome, NY (WIBX) - An accident on Route 26 in the outer district of Rome has led to four arrests.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle involved in the crash left the  scene as deputies arrived, leaving 18-year old Kathleen Karin of Clinton behind.

Karin was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies say three men abandoned the vehicle in a parking lot and fled on foot.

They were found walking along lower Lawrence Street, heading toward downtown Rome.

The driver, 33-year old Aaron Vienneau of Rome was charged with DWI and DWI/Drugs.

Deputies charged 34-year old William Fox and 32-year old Andrew Lario, both of Rome, with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
