MVCAA Collecting Food For Local Food Banks

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Mohawk Valley Community Action has kicked off collecting food for area food pantries.

The agency is collecting canned goods and non-perishable items to give to area food pantries to make up for the cancellation of the U.S. Postal Service food collection.

Donations are being accepted now through December 15.

Community Action will accept donations from the public at three collection boxes:

Main Office, 9882 River Road, Utica

Rome Office, 1721 Black River Blvd., Rome

Herkimer Office, 401 E. German Street, Herkimer
