MVCC To Offer Mechatronics Program

With an eye on helping prepare students for the nano jobs coming to the region, Mohawk Valley Community College will be offering a new Mechatronics Certificate program.

The program will be housed in MVCC's STEM Center.

The one-year program is designed to supplement the college's existing Electrical Service Technician associate degree program.  It will provide additional specialized skills for high-tech careers in advanced manufacturing fields like nanotechnology.

The program is accepting students for the fall semester, which begins on August 26th.
