My Heart My Life Expo Offers Health And Wellness Assessment

With the annual Heart Run & Walk coming up this weekend, The My Heart. My Life. Expo will be in full swing once again.

This Friday, February 28, visitors to the Health Expo will have the opportunity to undergo a free health and wellness assessment.

Located in the Utica College gym, the assessment screens visitors for signs of heart disease, diabetes and lung disease.

The screenings offered as part of the assessment include:

• Blood pressure
• Total cholesterol
• HDL
• LDL
• Triglycerides
• Diabetic score (which replaces a blood glucose screening)
• Pulmonary function screening
• Blood oxygen saturation testing

Stop in to the expo anytime between 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. to review your assessment results. In addition, if you do not have a physician, a list of physicians currently accepting new patients will be available.
