A Pennsylvania man is in jail awaiting a court appearance after troopers arrested him on Independence Day.
The man may have been declaring freedom from attire as New York State Police responded to a call about a naked trespasser on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
54-Year old Timothy Myers of Irwin, Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with traffic offenses along with the following:
- public lewdness
- criminal possession of a weapon (fourth degree)
- trespassing
- aggravated DWI
Myers was arraigned before the Town of Friendship Court and sent to the Allegany Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 21, 2015 to answer the charges. It is believed that he will be fully clothed during that court appearance.
