Names Released In Rome Snowmobile Accident

Rome, NY (WIBX) – Rome Police are continuing to investigate a serious snowmobile accident that happened on Saturday night on North George Street.
Police say the two victims, 36-year old Jeffery Badolato of Johnstown and 40-year old Julius Deraway of Rome were riding on the same snowmobile when they struck a snowbank near Vogel Park.
The sled became airborne, ejecting both men.
Badolato and Deraway are both being treated at University Hospital in Syracuse.
Anyone who may have witnesses the accident or has any information is asked to call Rome Police at 339-7780.
