Jeff Gordon is 1 of 12 drivers eligible for the Sprint Cup crown but he'll need to gain some ground today in Loudon, New Hampshire if he wants to seriously contend for the title.

Gordon, who currently sits 12th in the standings - 47 points behind pace setter Brad Keselowski - has the pole for  the second Chase race this afternoon in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch will start on the outside of row 1.

Defending Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart, who is third in the standings (-8) will start in third - Complete Lineup.
