NASCAR moves to Fontana, California on Sunday in the fifth race of the Sprint Cup season.

Denny Hamlin, fifth in the standings, took the pole during Friday's qualifying for the Auto Club 400 - the only driver to exceed 186 mph. He'll start alongside Kyle Busch who won the Nationwide race at Fontana last March and holds the qualifying record of 188 mph in the Sprint Cup Series.

Positions 3-thru-10 are: Mark Martin, Greg Biffle (current points leader) , Kasey Kahne, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson.
