CONKLIN, N.Y. (AP) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo says a new Dick's Sporting Goods distribution center in Broome County will create 466 full-time jobs over the next five years.

The Democratic governor says construction of the 650,000-square-foot facility will start next month in the town of Conklin and will be finished in early 2018. The company is investing $100 million in the facility five miles from its original store in Binghamton.

The state is providing up to $12 million in incentives including Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits. The company is also getting up to $450,000 in economic development grant assistance from NYSEG.
