Chipotle restaurants nationwide have been catching a lot of negative attention due to wide-spread reports of E. Coli and Salmonella incidents at various locations. In an effort to save face, the CEO of Chipotle is doing everything possible to educate employees at the restaurant chain about food safety, that includes closing all stores for one day for a company-wide food safety meeting. That includes the location in New Hartford.

That day is February 8th, 2016 and according to Time.com,

Chipotle spokesperson Chris Arnold told The Chicago Tribune that Chipotle hired a food safety expert, has started testing produce before shipping it to stores and plans to kick off a campaign next month to rehabilitate its image.

If you are a fan of the food from this restaurant, but have lost faith in the quality of their product maybe this new campaign and food safety initiative will be enough to change your mind.
