New Hartford Graduate Among Dead in Ohio Plane Crash

A New Hartford graduate is among several killed in a plane crash in Ohio earlier on Tuesday.
36-year-old Nick Weaver, a 1997 graduate of New Hartford High School was aboard the plane that crashed into an apartment complex in Akron, Ohio. Weaver worked for a real estate agency in Florida.
Officials say the plane took off from Dayton and was landing in Akron. NBC news reported that officials believe poor weather conditions may have contributed to the crash.
Nine people were on board the business jet. Authorities say there were no survivors.
