New Hartford Home Invasion, Occupant Hospitalized

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man was arrested on multiple felony counts, including Burglary, Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon for allegedly breaking into a home in the Town of New Hartford, as the homeowners slept.

48-year-old Steven Pastorious was arrested after police say he broke into the home and assaulted one of the occupants, sending that person to the hospital with a head injury.

Pastorious was arraigned in the New Hartford Town Criminal Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on no bail. 

New Hartford police continue to investigate, additional charges may be filed in the future.
