New Hartford Man Arrested After Reporting Burglary

A New Hartford man was arrested on felony drug charges after reporting a burglary at his home on Oneida Street.

New Hartford Police say 31-year old Devin Arrante called police for a report of a burglary in progress.

When officers arrived, Arrante told police a man was inside his apartment and was trapped inside a crawl space in the attic.

Police couldn't find anyone in the home, but they did allegedly find drugs in the apartment, seizing marijuana, cocaine, LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms, concentrated THC and drug paraphernalia.

Arrante is facing numerous charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana.
