New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A New Hartford man is facing a felony grand larceny charge after allegedly being paid for a job he didn't do.

According to New Hartford Police, John Feketa, 45, was running a tree and excavation business in April of last year, when he worked out a deal with a New Hartford woman to remove 13 trees from her property.

Feketa was paid more than $3,000, but never came back to do the work and in August an arrest warrant was issued.

Feketa was arrested yesterday and arraigned in the Town of New Hartford Court. He was then sent back to Oneida County Jail, where he is already serving time for separate charges.
