New Hartford Mom Arrested for Leaving Kids Alone Overnight

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - New Hartford Police arrested a mother of 4 early Sunday morning for leaving her children home alone, unattended for several overnight hours.

43-year old Valerie Murawski was arrested after it was discovered she left the children, ages 5, 6, 8 and 10 unsupervised for nearly 7 hours.

Murawski was charged with 4 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor, she was arraigned in the Village of New Hartford Court and remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of cash bail.

The children were turned over to the care of their father.
