A New Hartford woman is facing charges for allegedly using stolen credit cards to rack up $6,400 in purchases.

New Hartford Police say between March and May of last year, 53-year old Sandra Scholl  used the credit cards to make 63 fraudulent purchases at numerous local businesses.

Scholl is charged with 62 counts of forgery, along with one count of identity theft and three counts of grand larceny.

Police say the credit cards were stolen from a resident during the first part of 2016.
