New Jersey Man Killed Following Snowmobile Crash in Boonville

A New Jersey man is dead following a snowmobile accident in the Town of Boonville.

Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Hayes Road East and Lachausse Road for following reports of the accident.

Following an investigation it was discovered that 44-year-old Michael Stanley of Old Tappan, New Jersey failed to negotiate a curve, continuing straight off the trail and into a concrete bridge.

As a result of the crash, Stanley suffered serious injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
