February brings action, adventure, and -- for some reason -- a lot of remakes to the big screen. We've got vampire school girls, exciting LEGO fun, RoboCops, romance, fantasy and so much more to help you escape the last of the winter blues. February 7

'Vampire Academy-- Directed by Mark Waters. Starring Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry, and Danila Kozlovsky. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, half human/vampire, guardians of the Moroi, peaceful, mortal vampires living discretely within our world. Her legacy is to protect the Moroi from bloodthirsty, immortal Vampires, the Strigoi. This is her story.

'The LEGO Movie-- Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett. An ordinary LEGO minifigure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil LEGO tyrant from gluing the universe together.

'The Monuments Men-- Directed by George Clooney. Starring George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Cate Blanchett. An unlikely World War II platoon are tasked to rescue art masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their owners.

'Welcome to the Jungle' (Limited) -- Directed by Rob Meltzer. Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kristen Schaal, and Adam Brody. A company retreat on a tropical island goes terribly awry.

'Nurse 3D(3D) (Limited) -- Directed by Douglas Aarniokowski. Starring Paz de la Huerta, Katrina Bowden, and Judd Nelson. By day Abby Russell is a dedicated nurse, someone you wouldn't hesitate to trust your life with. But by night, her real work begins...using her smoldering sexuality she lures cheating men to their brutal deaths and exposes them for who they really are. When a younger nurse starts to suspect Abby's actions and compromises her master plan, Abby must find a way to outsmart her long enough to bring the cheater you'd least expect to justice.

'A Fantastic Fear of Everything(Limited) -- Directed by Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell. Starring Simon Pegg, Alan Drake, and Kiran Shah. Jack is a children's author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear of being murdered. 'RoboCop-- Directed by Jose Padilha. Starring Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, and Michael Keaton. In 2028 Detroit, when Alex Murphy -- a loving husband, father and good cop -- is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.

February 14

'Endless Love-- Directed by Shana Feste. Starring Alex Pettyfer, Gabriella Wilde, and Bruce Greenwood. The story of a privileged girl and a charismatic boy whose instant desire sparks a love affair made only more reckless by parents trying to keep them apart.

'Winter's Tale-- Directed by Akiva Goldsman. Starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Russell Crowe. A burglar falls for an heiress as she dies in his arms. When he learns that he has the gift of reincarnation, he sets out to save her.

'About Last Night-- Directed by Steve Pink. Starring Kevin Hart, Joy Bryant, and Regina Hall. New love for two couples as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put to the test in the real world.

'Date and Switch' -- Directed by Chris Nelson. Starring Sarah Hyland, Dakota Johnson, and Nick Offerman. Two guys who make a pact to lose their virginity before prom find their friendship tested when one of them comes out of the closet.

'Adult World' (Limited) -- Directed by Scott Coffey. Starring Emma Roberts, John Cusack, and Armando Riesco. A recent college graduate who believes she's destined to be a great poet, instead winds up working for an adult book store.

'Girl on a Bicycle' (Limited) -- Directed by Jeremy Leven. Starring Vincenzo Amato, Nora Tschirner, and Paddy Considine. Paolo, an Italian who drives a Paris tour bus, has just proposed to his true love, the German stewardess Greta, when the young French beauty Cécile pulls up beside his bus on her bicycle -- and, in short order, Paolo, following some very bad advice from his friend, Derek, finds himself with a German fiancée, a French "wife", two Australian children who call him "Papa", and his life upside-down.

'Jimmy P.' (Limited) -- Directed by Arnaud Desplechin. Starring Benicio Del Toro, Mathieu Almaric, and Gina McKee. Based on the book "Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian" by Georges Devereux, the film follows the author's study of and relationship with Jimmy Picard, a Blackfoot Plains Indian who suffers from psychological disorders following his service in World War II.

February 21

'Pompeii(3D) -- Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Starring Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Emily Browning. A slave turned gladiator finds himself in a race against time to save his true love, who has been betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, he must fight to save his beloved as Pompeii crumbles around him.

'3 Days to Kill-- Directed by McG. Starring Amber Heard, Kevin Costner, and Hailee Steinfeld. A dying Secret Service Agent trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter is offered an experimental drug that could save his life in exchange for one last assignment.

'The Wind Rises' (Limited) -- Directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, and Jennifer Grey. A look at the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed Japanese fighter planes during World War II.

'In Secret' (Limited) -- Directed by Charlie Stratton. Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton, and Jessica Lange. Set in the lower echelons of 1860s Paris, Therese Raquin, a sexually repressed beautiful young woman, is trapped into a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin, Camille, by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin. Therese spends her days confined behind the counter of a small shop and her evenings watching Madame play dominoes with an eclectic group. After she meets her husband's alluring friend, Laurent, she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences.

'Barefoot' (Limited) -- Directed by Andrew Fleming. Starring Evan Rachel Wood, J.K. Simmons, and Scott Speedman. The "black sheep" son of a wealthy family meets a young psychiatric patient who's been raised in isolation her entire life. He takes the naive young woman home for his brother's wedding

'Son of God' -- Directed by Christopher Spencer. Starring Diogo Morgado, Roma Downey, and Amber Rose Revah. The life story of Jesus is told from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection.

'Non-Stop-- Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Starring Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, and Michelle Dockery.

'Stalingrad' (Limited) -- Directed by Fedor Bondarchuk. Starring Thomas Kretschmann, Yanina Studilina, Philippe Reinhardt. The Battle of Stalingrad, the turning point of the European Theater of World War II.

'Repentance' (Limited) -- Directed by Philippe Caland. Starring Forest Whitaker, Anthony Mackie, and Mike Epps. An earnest life-coach/author, Thomas Carter, is mysteriously abducted by a deranged client, Angel Sanchez, who delves into Thomas' teachings and uses his spiritual messages of Karma -- action and reaction -- against him to terrorize him and his family for their past sins.
