Hughes was quick to quell rumors that the Double-A Binghamton Mets would look to relocate.  He says they are here to stay.  Hughes says he will retain General Manager Jim Weed and the rest of the Binghamton Mets' staff.

The Binghamton Mets will celebrate their 25th season as members of the Eastern League this upcoming campaign.  They have multi-year agreeements in place with the New York Mets and the City of Binghamton.  The Player Development Agreement (PDA) with New York is in place through the 2020 season while the lease with the City runs through 2022.
