Siena College is out with its latest NY-22 poll and it finds Anthony Brindisi with a slight edge over Republican Claudia Tenney, but well within the margin of error.

The survey of 501 likely voters in the district has the Democratic challenger Brindisi ahead 46%-45%. Siena's August poll had Brindisi ahead 46%-44%. The poll found 9% of voters undecided - in August the undecided was 10%.

Among Republicans, Tenney is up 65-23 while Democrats support Brindisi 77-17. With Independents, Brindisi is ahead 54-38%. In August, the split among Independents was 44-43% in for Brindisi.

Meanwhile, Tenney is ahead 49-44% in Oneida-Herkimer-Oswego counties. In Chenango-Cortland-Madison, Brindisi is up 47-40%.

The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4.7% and was conducted October 15-18.
