New State Budget Includes $2 Million For Utica Aud

The new state budget includes $2 million in funding for the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

The funding will help cover the costs of Oneida County's planned renovations to the Aud, including new offices and club box seating suites.

Empire State Development will reimburse the county so taxpayers will not have to bear the cost of any construction.

Senator Joseph Griffo and Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi say as the Aud expansion project gets underway, they'll continue to advocate for the project and they hope that additional funding will be secured.
