New York Biker Club Member Pleads Guilty To Racketeering Charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A member of a motorcycle club has pleaded guilty to federal racketeering charges stemming from the arrests of bikers in New York, Florida and Tennessee.

Federal prosecutors in Buffalo say 45-year-old Emmett Green of Delevan, New York, admitted Monday to being part of the Kingsmen Motorcycle Club's drug-distribution operation.

Officials say Green was the regional president of the club's New York state chapter, serving under national president David Pirk. Green and Pirk were among 17 Kingsmen members indicated on federal charges in March.

Prosecutors say Green acknowledged that the club is a criminal organization involved with drug dealing, firearms sales and prostitution.

Last August a Kingsmen member from Florida was convicted of fatally shooting two Kingsmen while they sat in a vehicle parked behind the group's clubhouse in North Tonawanda, near Buffalo.
