ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A New York man admits he killed another man with a sword.

Derrick Bovee pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Friday after a weeklong jury trial in state Supreme Court in Rochester.

Monroe County prosecutors say 64-year-old Jerry Mawson was found dead in his Rochester home in October with multiple "chop wounds" to his head and neck.

Bovee faces 15 years to life in prison when he is sentenced next month.
