New York Mills, NY (WIBX) - A threat at the New York Mills school resulted in a lock down and search of the premises by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

According to Sheriff Rob Maciol, a threat was reported to the school's Resource Officer Deputy just before 10:45 this morning.

Immediate actions were taken, including a lock down and search of the school. The Sheriff's Office also sent other resources to aid in the search, including a bomb sniffing dog.

Nothing suspicious was found, and about one hour later the school resumed normal activities.
