New York State Unemployment Rate Drops

Albany, NY (WIBX) – New York State’s unemployment rate is on the decline.
The state Department of Labor says the unemployment rate in November dipped to 8.3% down from 8.7% the previous month.
The state’s private sector added over 83,000 jobs in November.
New York State’s rate is still higher than the national unemployment rate of 7.7%.
