New York State Unemployment Rate Unchanged

The state's unemployment rate is holding steady.

The New York State Department of Labor says the jobless rate of 7.5% remains at its lowest level since February of 2009.

Labor Department officials say 129,300 jobs  have been added to the state's economy over the past year.

The Utica-Rome area has added 1,300 private sector jobs since July of last year.
