New York Unemployment Rate Falls Again

New York state's unemployment rate has reached its lowest level in eight years.

The New York State Department of Labor says the jobless rate fell from 5.1% in September to 4.8% in October.

That's the lowest level since November 2007 and below the national unemployment rate.

New York state added 30,300 private sector jobs in October.
