New York’s Legislative Session is Extended

The New York State Legislature is going into extra innings.

The legislative session in Albany was supposed to end June 17 but is now being extended into next week.

Rent control in New York City has held up a majority of work, including measures that impact other areas of the state, like extending the property tax cap and legalizing mixed martial arts.
