Utica, NY (WIBX) – A snow plow accident sends a Newport man to the hospital with arm injuries. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year old Mark Arcuri of Utica was plowing Fineview Drive in Deerfield, when his plow blade got caught on a deteriorating part of the roadway and swung back into the passenger side door of the truck.

The accident caused his passenger, 38-year old Anthony Bugeya of Newport to sustain arm injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials say Arcuri also sustained injuries from broken glass but was treated at the scene. The accident is still under investigation but no tickets were issued to the driver.
