New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A one car accident on Seneca Turnpike sent the driver to the emergency room, after first responders removed her from the wreckage, using hydraulic tools. New Hartford police say, 29-year-old Jessica M. Duhart of Utica, told investigators that she lost control of her car after it began to shake, causing it to veer left and striking the center median.

The impact, according to the police report,  spun the vehicle around, forcing it to roll to rest on the passenger side. After being extricated by the New Hartford Fire Department, Duhart was transported St. Elizabeth Medical Center and officials say no citations were issued however, their investigation is still ongoing.

Any witnesses to the accident that occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Campion Road, is asked to contact Officer T. Hulser at (315) 733-6666. Officials say Duhart was traveling East on Seneca Turnpike at the time of the accident.
