New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Motorist are being asked to avoid Route 5 near Consumer Square and Commercial Drive in New Hartford, due to heavy traffic. Department of Transportation crews are working to repair a traffic light in the area, and emergency officials are on the scene directing traffic.Motorist are asked to use caution.
No word on when the work will be complete, but you’re asked to avoid the area if you can.
