NHPD: Mother And Son Team Up To Steal From Walmart
New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - New Hartford Police say they arrested a mother and son after they were allegedly observed stealing from Walmart on Commercial Drive yesterday afternoon.
According to the report, loss prevention officers witnessed the two take the items from the store shelve, and without paying for them, returned them to Customer Service for store credit. Loss Prevention detained the suspects until police arrived.
54-year-old Julia M. Flagg and her son, 39-year-old Ronald J. Flagg of Utica, are charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor and 1st Degree Falsifying Business Records, which is a Felony.
Both suspects were released on appearance tickets and officials say they will answer the charges in the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date.
