David Wright returned to the lineup on Saturday collecting three hits, including a first-inning home run, and Jonathon Niese was on as the New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-0 at Citizens Bank Park.

Wright has missed the last three games with a broken pinky finger but the injury didn't appear to hamper him in the batter's box or in the field.

Niese tossed 6 2/3 innings of five hit ball while striking out five to improve to 2-0.

Ruben Tejada had two hits, and Lucas Duda added a pair of hits of his own, including a two-run blast, his third homer of the year.

The Mets (6-2) send Mike Pelfrey to the mound on Sunday afternoon, looking for the three-game sweep of the Phils (3-5) who will start Cole Hamels.
