The second ranked Syracuse Orange will able to make enough shots down the stretch to edge 22nd-ranked Pittsburgh 59-54 on Saturday to remain undefeated on the season.

Freshman Tyler Ennis the 'Cuse with 16 points and C.J. Fair tallied 13 to up the team's mark to 18-0, and 5-0 in ACC play.

The Panthers (16-2, 4-1 ACC) led 52-49 with under four minutes remaining but Syracuse closed the game on a 10-2 run.

Lamar Patterson paced Pitt with 18 points, including 4-9 from deep.

Trevor Cooney made just two of his eight 3-point attempts, finishing with six points, two assists and a turnover for the Orange - who shot better than 51% as a team.Jerami Grant had a dozen to go along with four boards and three assists.
