No More Romantic Fortunes in Your Fortune Cookie

Don’t expect to get a romantic message this Valentine’s Day when you open your Chinese fortune cookie. The nation’s largest maker of fortune cookies has announced that they no longer will place ‘romantic’ messages in their fortune cookies because someone found the love predictions offensive.  Company officials say messages as simple as ‘romance is in your future’ have been removed.  The goal is to make sure that not even one person is offended by the popular treat that follows almost every American Chinese take-out dinner.
