The North Utica Neighborhood Association held a meeting tonight at the North Utica Community Center to listen to and address concerns residents have in the area. The meeting had a turnout of about 30 people and was also attended by Utica Councilwoman Samantha Colosimo-Testa as well as commissioner of Public Works Dave Short.

There was not a lot on tonight's agenda, but one area of concern to residents was the construction at 170 Riverside Drive. Some residents were concerned over ownership of the lot and others wanted to know if the existing building would be turned into more than a two-family residence.

Dave Farina was able to put concerns to rest when he said that the new owner is not planning to expand the home and it will remain a two-family residence.
