The sport of deer hunting is for men, women, and children of all ages. In most cases it's a family tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. That is the case for Sister John Paul Bauer, a theology teacher at Elk County Catholic High School, who remembers hunting with her brothers and fathers throughout her childhood. After bagging a huge 10-point buck she posted a picture of it and now she's facing some criticism.

After this photo was posted on Facebook and on the Diocesan website people started questioning the faith of the nun and how she could kill something. Sister John Paul Bauer's response was simply "I always pray the rosary in my tree stand, It's a tradition." She had the meat of the deer slaughtered and donated to local families in need. If that's not Nun-like, I don't know what is. One thing is for sure, that's a nice buck!
