AURELIUS, N.Y. (AP) — The deputy chief of an upstate New York police department has pleaded guilty to impaired driving.

Roger Anthony has been suspended from the Auburn force.

The Auburn Citizen reports (http://bit.ly/2pUjqrq ) that Anthony, a 20-year veteran of the force, was arrested earlier this month in Aurelius.

He pleaded guilty to the traffic infraction Wednesday night.

His attorney says Anthony will enroll in an impaired driving program.
