NY Mills Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Child

A five-year investigation has led to the arrest of a New York Mills man for sexually abusing a child.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center has charged 37-year old David Burr with criminal sexual act.  Burr is accused of sexually abusing a 10-year old in Utica in January of 2011.

He's being held in the county jail without bail.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
